- What is Grok Bot?
- Grok Bot is an AI agent that xAI released in beta on August 11, 2026. Each Bot runs on its own cloud computer, signs into the sites and apps you already use, and uses a browser and terminal to finish multi-step tasks. It keeps working after you close your device.
- Are Grok Bot, Grok and @grok the same product?
- They are different products. Grok is xAI's conversational assistant on grok.com and in the Grok app, and @grok is an account on X that replies when you mention it in a post. Both answer questions. Grok Bot operates a computer and completes scheduled tasks for you.
- Can I use Grok Bot for free?
- No. According to xAI's pricing page, neither the Free tier nor the $8 Plus tier includes Grok Bot. The lowest tier with Grok Bot is Premium at $30 per month.
- Does the $15 first-month Premium price last?
- No. The grok.com subscribe dialog shows a 50% first-month discount for Premium, Super and Ultra. From the second month they cost $30, $100 and $200 per month.
- Where do I download Grok Bot?
- Start from xAI's official page at x.ai/bot, which lists the supported devices. Several unofficial download sites with similar names exist; do not enter your X or Cursor credentials on them.
