Raphael AI really does let you generate images for free, without signing in and without a cap, with three conditions: you must use basic mode (Fast Mode off), free images carry a watermark, and free images cannot be used commercially. Removing the watermark and getting commercial rights requires a paid plan, starting with Pro at $10 a month billed yearly. Raphael AI is an AI image and video generator that bundles models from Seedream, Nano Banana, MiniMax, Kling, Veo and others. We checked these details against Raphael AI's homepage and official pricing page on October 17, 2026.
What "free and unlimited" actually covers
The homepage promises "100% Free · No Login Required · Unlimited", and the explanatory text on the same page narrows it down:
- No sign-up and no credit card for unlimited image generation in basic mode, meaning with Fast Mode switched off.
- The free basic model returns an image in about 8 seconds, with up to 4 images per prompt.
- Signing in adds free daily credits and access to higher-resolution models, up to 2K.
- Free images carry a watermark. The pricing page says paying is what removes watermarks, speeds up generation and grants commercial use.
So "free and unlimited" is true, but only for basic mode. Better models, fast generation, clean outputs and commercial use all cost money. Raphael has also added free AI video generation (MiniMax H3 Turbo), likewise with no sign-up.
What else Raphael AI does
The homepage groups features into AI image, AI video, AI photo editing and a set of AI tools. Image tools cover an image editor, background removal, upscaling and style transfer. Models include Nano Banana 2.1 (up to 4K with multi-reference editing), Seedream 5.0 Flash and 5.0 Pro, Grok Imagine Image 2.0, and Seedream 3.5 Pro, which is marked as free. Each model costs a different number of credits; the free options are the basic model and the models marked free.
